Biography

Prof. Samsiddhi Bhattacharjee is the Director of BRIC-NIBMG and leads the Statistical and Computational Genomics group. His research focuses on developing novel statistical methods for genome-wide association studies, multi-omics data integration, and genetic epidemiology. He has made significant contributions to understanding the genetic architecture of complex diseases in Indian populations.

Before joining BRIC-NIBMG, he held key academic positions and built an interdisciplinary programme connecting biostatistics, genomics, and public health.
